The NYFL is proud to announce

its annual summer full

contact football camp in

cooperation with North Central College.

Get a jump start to your 2010 season as you join the NYFL and the coaching staff of North Central College (NCC) including Assistant Head Coach / Offensive Coordinator, Jeff Thorne, along with assistance from other NCC coaches and players during a full contact camp.

Players will have fun while improving their football skills and abilities. This full contact camp will emphasize teaching proper techniques for blocking and tackling with an emphasis on the individual player’s desired position on the field. Campers will progress from non-contact to full-contact drills with a live scrimmage on the final day of the camp.

Campers will be divided up by age and weight with safety being our top priority. NYFL provides certified athletic trainers on site at all times.

  • Campers will be taught proper techniques to use
    “game-like” situations.

  • Campers will be given opportunities to learn on
both sides of the ball and/or refine their skills.

  • Campers will have the opportunity to meet and play
against their future teammates and/or competitors.

  • Campers will discuss the importance of nutrition, exercise, and academics.

  • Campers will leave achieving a new level of play.
